FAQs

1. Where is the conference?

Address

Woburn House Conference Centre
20-24 Tavistock Square
London
WC1H 9HQ

2. How can I get to the conference venue?

Nearest underground stations:

Train

If you are travelling by train into either Euston Station or King’s Cross St Pancras these are both a walkable distance to the venue so underground travel can be avoided.

Bus from London train terminus

Bus stops for all mainline stations are located in Tavistock Square or Euston station forecourt.

Car

Woburn House does not have dedicated parking. The nearest NCP car parks are in Eversholt St (which is just outside the congestion zone) and Woburn Place; both are only 5 minutes’ walk from Woburn House.

3. Where can I stay?

Hotels

Delegates are responsible for reserving and covering the cost of their accommodation should they wish to stay in London before the event.
Bloomsbury offers plenty of choices for accommodation. See hotels in the area on the map, or on Tripadvisor.

4. Is there any accessibility support?

Accessibility

Woburn House is accessible for visitors with restricted mobility, including wheelchair users. The entry to Woburn House is completely level and there is lift access to all rooms and facilities.

The lifts are equipped with a spoken directory and Braille indicator panels. There are 2 disabled toilet facilities and there is an induction loop in the Main Hall and Tavistock Room.

If you would like to discuss any individual access requirements needed to participate in the event please contact the Events and Marketing team at marketing@sums.ac.uk.
