She has also worked with numerous SMEs within the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire areas to reduce their carbon impacts. Rosemary has also in the past audited Forestry Commission offices as part of their EMS programme.Here she highlighted opportunities for cost savings to the organisation as well as delivering on the audit programme.

Benefits which Rosemary has delivered include setting up a functioning EMS, auditing (both internal and external) and working with companies to enable them to make cost effective improvements to further their sustainability objectives in relation to carbon reduction. In the past Rosemary has been the corporate lead for environment and sustainability for the University of Derby and the technical lead for the DE-carbonise project.

She has now returned to teaching on several programmes across the College of Science and Engineering while completing her DPhil. Rosemary is a keen painter and occasional horse rider, and when not doing these things, she tries to keep two teenagers, her partner, the cat and dog in some semblance of order. Rosemary is also the IEMA chair for the Midlands Region.
