With over 28 years’ experience in higher education, public and private sector organisations of varying size, complexity and procurement maturity, Tina has a strong understanding of how procurement efficiencies can be optimised through aligning commercial, operational and strategic objectives. These include:
- leveraging sustainable commercial outcomes and value for money by aligning benefits realisation to procurement best practice
- propelling change implementation, stakeholder and supplier relationship management, performance reviews, measurement and reporting
- devising procurement strategies, embedding procurement governance, establishing efficiency and cost reduction initiatives
- leading end-to-end procurements, drafting procurement documentation, evaluation modelling, category and contract management, developing and delivering procurement training.
Tina is a procurement and commercial practitioner with a proven track record of driving large‑scale transformation, advancing procurement maturity and delivering efficiencies across higher education, public and private sectors. At the University of Chester, she established institution‑wide governance, streamlined processes and strengthened commercial decision-making, while delivering procurement training to budget holders and contract managers, elevating institutional capability. Her experience includes leading multidisciplinary teams through rapid organisational growth, strengthening contract and category management and building commercially focused procurement cultures. Tina’s earlier career spans St Helens College, Swiss Life UK, National Museums Liverpool, Manchester Airports Group, KPMG and roles in local government.

Outside of work Tina has travelled extensively, loves cruising, arts, literature and ballroom dancing. Passionate about nurturing skills and the procurement profession, Tina combines her time on consultancy with her roles as Tutor and Assessor for the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and as Student Mentor with the University of East London.
