Tim brings deep expertise in international partnership brokerage and market entry strategy for higher education institutions. He can support members with: establishing transnational education partnerships (franchise, validation, dual qualification models), conducting market analysis and partner due diligence across emerging markets, structuring commercial frameworks for international education ventures, designing quality assurance and compliance protocols for cross-border delivery, and developing assessment logistics for professional qualifications. His experience working with multiple partners across Russia, Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America enables me to provide practical guidance on navigating regulatory environments and building sustainable international operations.
Tim was previously the Founder & Managing Partner at IPT where he built an international education business brokering partnerships between UK awarding bodies and delivery centres across diverse markets. He established an infrastructure supporting 70+ UK professional institutes including CIMA, CIPD, ICAEW, in delivering 5,000+ exams annually. In addition to this, Tim managed a network of 200+ teaching professionals serving 3,000+ students across 80 partner organisations. He brokered Russia’s first CIPD teaching centre through partnerships with Nottingham Trent and Portsmouth universities. His earlier roles include positions at EF Education, Nord Anglia, Aspect ILA, and Study Group across UK, Europe, Middle East, and Australia.
How has Tim recently supported institutions?
- Established Russia’s first CIPD teaching centre through structured partnership agreements with Nottingham Trent University and Portsmouth Business School, creating a sustainable TNE delivery model
- Designed and negotiated collaboration framework with the Chartered Institute of Marketing to launch new training centre for professional and postgraduate qualifications in Russia
- Built assessment operations infrastructure managing 5,000+ annual examinations across multiple cities for UK professional bodies including CIMA, ICAEW, CIPS, as well as London University International
- Developed, established and administered franchise teaching operations in Poland, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia and Chile, and project managed establishment of 1,500 student capacity EFL & IT Centre in central Sydney.
Outside of work, Tim has road-cycled across Spain five times, as well as through France, Corsica, Italy, Turkey, Costa Rica, Chile, and Argentina. He has travelled by train on the Trans-Siberian (Vladivostok–Moscow), the Trans-Manchurian (Beijing–Moscow via Ulaanbaatar), and the Irkutsk–Moscow routes, and has journeyed across all four Scandinavian countries. His overland travels also include coast-to-coast Sri Lanka, Moscow to Nice, Sydney to Perth, and Vienna to Málaga.
