Steve was one of the founders of SITS Ltd which went on to become the market leading SIS across Higher Education in the UK (nearly 70% market share), as well as a presence across Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, China, South Africa and Canada. Steve went on to become the International Sales Director for Tribal Group plc for all their Educational products and services, winning many large, complex and high-value contracts, globally across both Further and Higher Education Institutions.
Steve’s experience has also involved him in supplying ERP Cloud solutions (Finance, HR and Payroll, Student Systems, CRM) across the Higher Education sector in both USA with Jenzabar and UK with TechnologyOne.
Steve has extensive experience in responding to technology requirements documents as part of a University’s public tender process, as well contract negotiations in over 150 University and College procurements.
Steve’s experience across technology suppliers to the sector involved sales leadership across global sales teams, driving increases in revenue and profit, as well as managing effective integration between all revenue-related functions. He has been responsible for business transformations of on-premise to cloud, requiring adoption of new go-to market models, sales methodologies, pricing and contract designs, processes and procedures on a global footprint.
