Sean brings a creative and challenging approach to the assignments that he works on for SUMS clients. He can gain insight and support within organisations very quickly, producing persuasive and highly quality presentations and reports to support the presentation of the outcomes required from the client’s brief. Once he has confirmed and clarified the client brief, Sean works efficiently and effectively to deliver the outcomes that the client has specified.
Sean has worked in many sectors in addition to higher education including finance, local government, and policing. He has also held a portfolio of non-executive roles in housing, the NHS, educations and cyber. This broad experience has helped Sean to gain insights into many different strategies and ways of working which he has been able to put into practice to support continuous improvement and strategic development in the different organisations he has worked with. In addition, Sean has used coaching and mentoring qualifications to support the development of staff in the organisations he has worked for.
Examples of projects Sean has worked on:
- a £20m digital transformation for a local government organisation
- a £25m digital transformation for the University of East Anglia
- Let the development of a new data strategy and data infrastructure for the University of East Anglia
- Led the procurement of new managed service for a local government organisation
Outside of work, Sean enjoys supporting his local amateur dramatics group – currently behind the scenes although he has been known to tread the boards!
