She has a wealth of experience from working in senior commercial roles in the IT industry in both customer and supplier facing roles, in bidding and post-contract signature environments and has led and supported some major IT and business process outsourcing deals in both the public and private sectors.

She has particular expertise in the resolution of complex issues on distressed accounts, working with different cultures across multi country boundaries. Amongst her public sector experience has included working with UK Visas and Immigration, the Identity and Passport Service, MoD and the Medical and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.

Sarah has successfully managed a large multi-million dollar claim from one customer in the energy sector, converting it into revenue which was instrumental in lifting the business from a gloomy loss-making forecast into a profit. She has managed the roll out of numerous supplier contracts supporting the prime contract, including one for deskside support across 37 countries in support of business with Microsoft. She was part of the winning team in in securing the major technology services outsource agreement with the BBC. She also introduced the Institute of Commercial and Contract Managers (“IACCM”) professional accreditation programme to her then current employer which is still at the heart of its training programme today. Sarah joined SUMS at the end of 2020 as an Associate. She managed the tender process for the Software Resellers Licence Agreement (“SLRA”) framework to contract award decision for SUPC. More recently she has led the tender process for the National Education Recruitment Advertising and Resourcing Services (NERARS) framework.

Sarah is a keen amateur photographer, loves most things outdoors (except gardening!) and is in the throes of working on her never-ending project; her “fixer-upper” house in Hampshire.
