Hannah holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, is an NLP Business Practitioner and has gained chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD).
Public Sector
With over 13 years working in the public sector, Hannah has experience of driving culture change, delivering results and making large-scale improvements as well as leading on large and complex organisation-wide culture initiatives and programmes whilst ensuring alignment with business needs and goals.
Hannah has extensive experience of working with teams to explore and develop new sustainable ways of working which include partners and working across local systems. Trained in QSIR (Quality, service improvement and redesign) she worked directly with teams as a critical friend to support a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment using a variety of tools to include process mapping, re-designing roles and responsibilities, embedding measurement processes and the implementation of KATA improvement boards
Hannah has direct experience of leading the development of strategies and working with stakeholders to bring together many voices in to one clear vision through cocreation with robust supporting plans and frameworks for delivery. She is passionate about hearing staff, patient and volunteer stories and threading these through key documents where possible to help bring real experiences to life.
Key projects
- Leading on the co-creation of a five-year strategy that involved high volumes of stakeholder engagement and facilitated workshops which captured over 100 voices.
- Leading on a trust-wide engagement programme to support staff to co-create a new vision, set of organisational values and behavioural framework for a newly-merged organisation (12,000 staff) through crowd sourcing.
Private Sector
Hannah is currently Head of People and Culture for a rapidly growing Global Creative Agency, with overall strategic responsibility for setting the direction of the company from a people and culture point of view across offices in UK and Dubai.
A vital part of this role has been to create and embed key people processes and policies at pace, ensuring compliance from a legislation point of view, but with a real focus on culture and engagement.
With an internal headcount growth from 3 to 35 in 3 years and an extensive talent pool of over 5000 international freelancers, Hannah has strong experience in leading on recruitment for global major events with teams of up to 200 people. Hannah is proficient in ensuring all processes and working environments are compliant with local employment laws and regulations, as well as understanding any cultural sensitivities and preferences.
Outside of work, Hannah sits on the Board of Advisors for NOWIE (Network of Women in Events) and provides coaching for young job seekers who are currently out of work, and mentoring for those wanting to progress within the events industry.
