Adam helps leaders solve complex marketing problems and build and maintain high-performing marketing functions that are right for their culture, business and goals.
Until November 2019 Adam was Director of Marketing and Communications at Durham University, a member of the University Strategy Development Board and responsible for all marcomms activity and strategy development across the University.
Adam managed the migration at Durham from a purely operational team of 6 in 2006, to its current model as an integrated, strategic, full-service, modern marcomms function of 45+ people and an operating budget of £4m.
Throughout 2018 and 2019 he oversaw the development and implementation of Durham’s new brand positioning and associated management systems, brand architecture, and culture change and values alignment strategy.

Adam loves nothing more than spending time outdoors, growing his own fruit and vegetables and re-wilding a 4-acre field at this home in Northumberland to encourage local biodiversity.
