Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) and SUMS Consulting are delighted to invite you to a joint HE sector event, supported by Semestry and the University of Reading on Procurement in Timetabling. This online discussion panel will bring together representatives from a range of perspectives: from timetabling managers, suppliers, institutional procurement leads and category managers.

Speakers:

  • Chair: Claire Taylor, Managing Consultant, SUMS Consulting
  • Panellist: Mark Lewis, Category Manager ICT, SUPC
  • Panellist: Elizabeth Evans, Head of Timetabling and Room Booking, University of Reading
  • Panellist: Judy Voykovic, Proposals Manager, Semestry

Each panellist will talk about their experiences before we move into some structured questions about good practice in procurement in this area and discuss some of the things Universities can do to ensure a good outcome.

There will be time for specific questions as well which can be posed in advance if you're keen or raised on the day. If you have any questions you would like to send in advance please email Grace Parsons - Events and Marketing Officer at g.a.parsons@reading.ac.uk.

This event is open to all members but may be of particular interest to the following roles:
  • Heads of Procurement, Procurement Managers and Officers with a special interest in IT systems and those who might potentially be supporting procurement projects in this area.
  • Timetabling Managers/Officers and Examination Officers, not just those in market for a new system now, but those who might be thinking about it in the next three years.
  • Academic Registrars, Estates or other Professional Services Managers who oversee timetabling and/or examination timetabling.
